I have a 64,what years do the hinges interchange? When to put on hood(my hinges were missing when I bought the truck),When to put on hood and bolts don't line up and sits too high in rear?

Same hinges '61-'71. Exception: early are 90* open, I think '69-'71 are less.

Are you saying you have hinges but, they hood is higher in the rear? If so, there is a procedure on here about adjusting the hood correctly. Craig

61-68 is one style,69-71 is taller and has closer mounting to hood.

The 69+ hinges only open to about 60°, not as far as the earlier style, which open to dead vertical (90°). One can pull an engine with the ealier hinges weithout removing the hood.

The hood hinges on my 66 had to be slotted at the firewall to get a proper fit for height and width
