Haven’t had much time to work on the Ute in the last... year or two!! Dangit, hard to believe it’s been that long already. Anyways, I am slowly getting things moving again, still a ton of work to do! Figured I’d get the old wood out of the bed, after all my half day weekend was all free of other things to do!! Well surprisingly, I didn’t get to far! Broke off 4 bolts and can’t get another 7-8 out at all! The wood is basically destroyed. I might just end up making a real big mess before it’s all done! Anyways, here’s a before picture. Hopefully I’ll have a little time here and there during the week to try and finish?

I wonder if anyone has ever used Trex decking? I know it's expensive.....

Actually, Trex has to be cheaper than white oak?

I bought some plastic deck material for the floor of my pw. Got it on a discount, about 50% at home depot. It will be a while before I can report, but I think it'll work well.
