I know on my DeSoto, I had to buy a 24" refill. Then, I CUT the refill in half. Then I slipped the "new" rubber into the OLD wiper metal area. Know what I mean??

That's what I do also. Just find blades and cut them to fit.

when you cut them to fit, how do you keep them from falling apart? Do you simply tape the ends with black electrical tape?

The blades came in. They arnt metal framed like old ones, they are plastic framed and slightly different but will work. I had to bend the tabs closer to fit them in but they work. Bad news is I broke 2 of the metal tabs!!! :pale Now looking for wiper arm parts. Anyone here have a spare wiper arm for sale? Im in need of one.

Do you need the ARM or the Blade part? I may have an old blade..., but I would have to check. Let me know.

Did you guys take the rubber blade out of this arm and slide It into the original arm on the truck?

I forgot all about this. I guess I probably need blades. I'll look the next day or two. Craig

I looked today and I used the entire assembly. I think you could remove the blade and use it. The blade has the two stainless splines and should slide right in. Try it and let us know. Craig

Assuming you have the original Anco wipers, you need #800 Turtle back refills. Sometimes they are listed as 12" turtleback refills or any combination of those words, I just found some NOS ones from '68 and the rubber was like new on them, they seem to have put some kind of coating to keep the oxygen out of the rubber that preserves them for decades. :Thumbsup
