Anyone heard of 8 lug 19.5" wheels on a sweptline

I just picked up a 67 W100 shord bed, fleetside with 3/4 ton axles under it from the factory. The axles are 4:88 ratio and it currently has 16" rims on it. The guy selling it to me offered up some 8 lug 19.5" rims that he said are really rare....used for forrestry or something like that. It intrigues me because I could put a taller tire on the rim and tame the 4:88's a little. Anyone heard of these coming on the dodges? Would it be worth pursuing?

Yes and yes! :Thumbsup goodyear G171s work well (though spendy) @ 33 1/2" tall I would pursue them if the wheels aren't too much. Most tires are very expensive in 19.5,but they work well on sweptlines and LAST.

Had a set on a 1963 F350 that also had a 5.13 rear ratio. Really miss that truck.

Thanks guys, I'm not sure if $40 a rim for 5 rims is a good deal or not, but I think I'm going for it. The extra height on the tiresshould help tame the 4:88's a little. Your truck looks good with the rims and tires on it.

19.5's were an option Dad ordered for mine. I have the G171's and have been happy with them. Second the spendy part.
