.....One cold morning headed to work I reached over and pushed the button in that said "Defrost" and I heard a "Snap" ..... Not good, now I have no control over where the air goes .... Are replacement controls hard to find ..... probably a dumb Question cause I haven't seen any but , I thought I would ask ..

I looked it up for a '70 Dart on RockAuto.com and it looks like they have them.

Geez .... What a bone head I am . I'm talking about a '71 D-100 . I need to give more useful info and maybe less ..... static. ......sorry.

Your title states that it is a 71. There isn't going to be a difference between a D100, D200, D300, W100, W200 or W300. I think you included enough info. I'm guessing the controls others mentioned are the same as the one you need.

That part was used up til at least 1989. Jim

Thanks soopernaut that's great to know. I was referring to nuthinbutmopars response about a '70 Dart. I thought maybe I was misunderstood. Thanks again, this is a great forum !!

I'm guessing a 70 Dart uses the same part. I can't tell you for sure though.
