your going to have variations on the weight depending on wheels, and what is in the bed, etc. and some of it will depend on your personel desire, if you want it to be a heavy truck you'll get it over 4000lbs if its close to the factory tires and your just courious to what it weighs it will come in around 3800 lbs, you have the D200 and it has the Dana it weighs more cause its a 3/4 ton.

Actually it's a D100 special order. The tag on the door states SPEC for many of the options including rear axle... :salut

It may be a 1/2 but the 8 lug axles are 3/4 ton. the frame and suspension are likely 1/2. Whoever ordered it original probably wanted a work truck. See if you have rear overload springs. This will tell you if its a 3/4 ton suspension or not. The drive train sounds exactly like my D 200 from 65. Except i have the poly 318.

I'm not real sure where N Wilkesboro, NC is but I think you're near Charlotte. There are a couple truck stops in that area with CAT Scales. Cost is $9.00 and are full platform scales. You can get steer axle and drive axle weights separated with gross at the bottom of the page. Charlotte has a Pilot Truck stop at the I77/I85 interchange with a CAT Scale. Or you can use computer to look up CAT Scales for one nearer to you. Any truck driver can/will help you center your pickup on the platforms. Hope this helps. John, Tyler, TX

I've noticed from being under these trucks that the earlier years pre-69 that their are more frame crossmembers both in the front and rear, in 69 the engineers finally figured out they weren't needed and left off 2-3 of them, although the Utline bed is lighter than the box.
