I’m wanting to pull my rear bumper off my 64 D100. Anyone know the approximate weight??
Thanks

I moved one around the other day. My guess is 120 lbs.

Weight of the bumper prevents fishtailing on wet asphalt no?

No. Extra mass would mean that it might suppess fishtailing starting, but once it did, it would be harder to stop. Google "polar moment of inertia" and "handling."reallylongnickname wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 2:59 pmWeight of the bumper prevents fishtailing on wet asphalt no?

Reminds me, I had a 83 Mustang 5.0 in my 20s and couldn't afford to keep the fuel tank full.
Anyway, it inadvertently trained me to become good at instantly correcting vehicle since it so often fishtailed in the snow :-)

Not to hijack your thread, Mangra, but let me ask you (or anyone else), do you think installing modern style truck seats would obstruct the view of the Dodge trucks with that size of window?
Let me ask a different way;
Would the shoulders of seat, overlap in front of glass?
If so, it would probably not look correct cosmetically
