How do you guys handle rust around the top of the windshield above the window rubber but below the rain gutter?? both inside and outside...

Haven't actually patched rust up there yet... Does the rust extend underneath the gasket? If so, you may need to remove the windshield to completely patch it. From previous experience patching doors/floor, I would bondo in smaller rust spots and fiberglass larger ones. Really depends on how big of an area is affected.

The best way to fix that rust is to cut out all of the rusty metal and weld in new metal. You will probably need to make some patches from 18 gauge. If you just bondo or fiberglass the holes they will rust out again if the truck is exposed to moisture for any amount of time. The roof edge is a common place for these trucks to rust and then leak water in and rust more.
