Paint issue

I bought a 68' Adventurer 1/2 ton and the previous owner rattle canned the crap out of the truck spraying everything including the windows. I have removed most of the paint on the glass with isopropyl alcohol but what do I use on the stainless and chrome without damage to the emblems and trim?

Lacquer thinner or some other solvent will not hurt stainless or chrome. Just keep it away from paint.
