hood/rad support mismatch

Using a 1970 hood on a 1968 rad support. Can someone tell me which hood latch matches the lock mechanism? The 68 uses a 3 bolt plate on the rad support and the 70 uses a bent rod type. Is there someone out there that has run into this?

I have a 71 with a 68 radiator support and after trying both I used the 3 hole plate,although if I remember correctly it was a bear to get adjusted correctly.
