Door swap
HI I have a 1969 d -200 camper special that i bent the driver side door while backing up lol i found a 1962 d-400 door off a army truck would they be interchange able thanks

You need a 68 and up door.

The latch & striker plates actually
changed in '67. At least one of the
members [Ben] has done this swap.
Finding a '67 or later door would
certainly be the easiest route.

Well I already got the door and latch from the body so i am hoping to get it to work if someone to have Ben contact me to give me a idea of how to do it i would appreciate it I have been needing a door for over a year now and when I saw this one 62 door I didnt want to pass it up for 20 dollars at the scrap yard thats what I get for being to eager lol thanks JohnBoons wrote:I said 68 cause it would have the same interior handles.Hobcobble wrote:The latch & striker plates actually

I'd love to know how to do this too. I've got a great pair of '68 doors I want to put on my '66 but I'm hung up on the hardware.
