Grille panel change..
I prefer the 61-64 style front end setup. Can I swap these parts to my '66??

Re: Grille panel change..
I haven't done it myself, but I believe it is just a matter of swapping the core support, grill, and headlight surrounds.

Correct, dimples are not there for the head light buckets on the late core support and trying to put them on the other support is not worth the effort.demulsion wrote:I haven't done it myself, but I believe it is just a matter of swapping the core support, grill, and headlight surrounds.

Re: Grille panel change..
So you are saying it is to much headache to do the swap??
Re: Grille panel change..
I believe what jeffc was saying is that without changing the core support it takes too much effort, to make the 4 headlight buckets fit.
I'm not positive but I think you might have to use the 61-64 hood also.
