I told my wife that at some point before I die I will own a really cool old truck. After watching this particular truck for about 15-17 years I got it. Apologies up front but - I am not A diehard Mopar guy. I just like cool stuff, and this truck is one of the coolest in my eyes. Tons of research and small repairs from here. Thanks in advance for any help offered from here on out. I will need it.

So, history of truck - Original owner sold it to a used car dealer. Dealer sold it to a friend of mine back in 01-02. His father loved the Sweptline trucks. He completely went through truck and painted it red and gave it to his father as a gift. A few weeks later his father tore his bicep requiring surgery. The 3 speed slant 6 with no power steering was out. He built his father a new Dodge with automatic transmission and power steering. Truck moved from place to place but never really used - ever. It took 18 years but I think it found its forever home!!

Very nice looking truck. I wasn't necessarily a Mopar guy either, but found mine because I loved the look of it and for the price people wanted for a rusted out chevy or ford this just made sense. Congrats and enjoy
