1963 is Back!

My son turns 13 in about a month. He bought this 63 Valiant from my dad. At the rate I get projects done I figured we better pick this thing up now and get started :Thumbsup

the 63 and 64 valiants are one of my favorites. have had quite a few 64's.

great look n young man, dad an son project, time together, sharing knowledge, learning about the mechanics of the iron. but the time spent together is priceless. good on you both.. what year is the Pete? gary

Thanks guys. Motor and tranny are out of it now. There are in the storage trailer, but slant 6 pushbutton auto..Probably going to keep it mostly stock. Just upgrade brakes and probably go 4 1/2" bolt pattern. Plan to so a simple resto with no custom stuff.

Good eye on the Pete Gary. Not sure on the year. My dad has 3 of them. He fully restored one a couple of years ago. I think the yellow one in the picture and the one by the house are going to get combined to make one..

Those Valiants are tough and easy to work on, he will have a great time with it.
