Has anyone made a detailed drawing of their Sweptlines? If so where should I start my drawing? Please post any drawings you have made maybe I can see where to begin.

Thanks!

I made this many years ago.

Here is another I made a long time ago.

I always begin with the line at the bottom of the truck between the wheels.

When I was a teenager, I started with a drawing I had my older brother make of my Dad's 67. I would take that picture and trace it, tweak it, and for a good 10-15 years, make many more. Here's a few from my Photobucket account. Search for ihcguy on Photobucket and go to page 10 of my general album to get right to all of the ones I scanned and posted on the web.

Thanks, Jeff. I'll pass that on to him. Never thought of that, but you are right.

Magnumcharger, those 2 side view drawings look pretty good.

I notice one of my pictures has turned into a red X. Here is the link but somehow it won't work as an image anymore.

Here is one I made for a shirt.

Here's one of what i hope mine will look like, it was a quick one usually i make another sketch once i get the idea down that is more exact, the proportions are a little off but you get the idea
sketch.jpg
I find it easiest to start with just two 3d boxes for the body and cab in a really light stroke of the pencil then fill everything out inside the boxes for the most
