Here is a shot of my 1967 Dodge D-100 that I am working on to drive to the Sweptline cruise in September. It will soon be home to a hot rodded slant six with a 904 automatic behind it. It is in the garage now, so that is progress

Here is my 1971 Dodge Custom D-100 long bed. It has a 318 small block with a 727. It soon will be getting a dual plane manifold and Holley carb, headers and RV cam.

If anyone has any body trim for the 71, I would be interested in finding the pieces I am missing.

Thanks,

Jason

PM me what trim pieces you need. I may be able to help and I live in B.C. which makes shipping a bunch easier.

I got the engine and trans pulled from the 67 today. I have a bit of clean up of the frame and firewall to do while the engine is out and then it starts going back together. A wire wheel and a rattle can of paint will have to do.

I got the frame and firewall cleaned and painted. The slant six is installed. Tomorrow's task is getting the 904 auto trans installed and a crossmember built. I will take some pictures. It is probably a good time to start a build thread, I guess.

The exterior of the cab, box and hood are now painted flat black on the 67. It is starting to look pretty cool!

Hi Jason;
You said you were going to put a four barrel on your 71.
If you don't already have an intake, I have a 340ci cast factory manifold dated 1972.
I was going to put it on my 71, but decided against it.
I am in Whitby/Oshawa area. Have been to Sterling market many times.

Hi there,

I live in a little village called Stirling, Alberta. Sterling, Ontario would make getting a hold of your intake a lot easier. Dang it!

Whupps!
Alberta eh?
Guess I wasn't thinking outside my little world of Ontario.
I like the colour of your 71. Mine is orange with the factory wrinkle paint roof. 318 auto with factory power steering.
Guess i better let you get back to putting the tranny on the back of the engine for the earlier one.

I finally took some pictures of the 67 and posted them on Facebook.
I tried to get back on the computer to start a build blog, but it is broken. I'm down to surfing the web on my PS3 until I'm can get it fixed. The 67 is starting to look pretty cool.
I´ve been painting the fenders and underside of the hood. Swepty's look really cool in flat black!

Rustoleum flat black. What is the difference between satin and flat?

They are probably the same, I used Satin Black on my 65 to make it eye exceptable before the Cruise.
