I just got my gauges intalled, They are Summit Racing triple gauges. Great price, $53.00 for the set of 2-5/8" chrome. I also used the gauge anglers so I can see them better. Sure beats the old gauges that I had zip tied to the bottom of the dash that didn't light up.
And one of my helper playing with the stereo remote!

Your shift lever doesnt hit them? Mine will touch the bottom of the dash at times when I shift it aggressively.
OK, i see the bend in yours now. Mine is straight.
Here is a simple trick to spice up your shift knobs....
Take them off, clean them VERY well and finish with alcohol.
spray white paint over the recessed letters and lines.
use 600 grit to sand the white paint off the knob and sequentially go up in grit until only the recessed portion is white.

i've never seen a dash bezel that extends past the radio like that, was that an option? did the factory put that big hole in for the radio?

Dakotadave, your truck reminds me of my child hood, my dad had a set up just about like that. We loved camping with it.
My truck was a AC truck, I have a standard heater core in it now. My windshield doesn't work without the defrost either! LOL

. I have the blower motor on toggle switches. My big plan is to buy a Vintage air kit some day. I'll mount the controlls above the radio. Thier was a divide in the plastic between the radio hole and the heater/AC controlls that had to be removed to mount the CD player how I wanted. Seems some trucks have this style gauge upgrade??? My brothers 69' d100 didn't have AC but has this gauge trim. I built the plate to cover the huge factory hole that was left after I removed the factory Radio/heater/ac controlls.
The truck still has climate controll, I park it in the sun in the winter and in the shade in the summer. LOL
