All in the Family
This truck has been in my family since 1968. My Great Grandfather bought it new, then it passed on to my Grandpa, and now to my Father. Someday it will be mine (Dad says when he is 70) six more years. This truck has a shade over 62,000 miles and is completely rust free, and has all of its original paint & sheet metal. Interior is mint with the auto on the dash. Has a 318 w/ auto. Has spent its whole life in the cover of a garage ( Grandpa scraped the side of the garage a couple times). I just helped my pops put some wheels & exhaust on it. I hope to be around here awhile fellas, and thanks in advance for the help I will surely ask for. Steve

Those wheels look really good on that truck. Too bad you have to wait 6 years to become the owner. If you hang around here you'll be wanting another one before the 6 years is up.

Re: All in the Family
I'll try & get some more pics put up of the interior, engine & underside. My Pops lives about 3 hrs away so might not be for a couple days. Thanks for the feedback fellas, its nice to find a community like this to help keep the faith. Steve

Nice to see another one family owned truck, mine was bought new in '68 by my Grandfather as well and has remained a totally factory original unmolested truck. Here are a few pics.

Re: All in the Family
Absolutely!!! I used to play in the bed of this truck when I was a kid. My truck stays at my Granny's house where it has been since they brought it home. When I turned 16, PawPaw tossed me the keys and sent me to the store for some gas for the lawnmower, I asked my Mother if she wanted to ride along and she told me she had never even gotten to drive the truck!!! It was really funny that PawPaw had never even let his own daughter drive the truck and yet he let me at such a young age. That was the first vehicle I had ever driven that didn't have power steering and I remember being so nervous and the truck looked so huge!!! Lots of great times in this truck, funny how a vehicle can become a member of the family!!!
