Man, that looks like it was a good time! I wish I didn't have to work on Saturdays! I thought about callling in sick so I could go, but I am trying to stay on the right side of a promotion. Maybe next year my schedule will be different, or at least I will be able take a vacation day to attend. I am looking forward to some more pics! Some sweet looking rides. How did the rally turn out?

Both my wife and daughter got up on time, and we left on time, arrived at the parking lot at 2665 w Eisenhaurer at 8:15am, which is early, and their were 8 trucks their, yes 8 were their already, then me and we had another group from the Metro area of 3, then the Strasburg trucks, we kept getting more and more trucks, we talked, and drooled, and drooled, time got away we didn't leave until 10:30am and drove to where we did the photo shot, the whole time all you could see was Sweptlines, some people just plain stopped and looked right in the middle of the Road, towns people at the photo shoot came over and looked as you can see. We didn't get to Apache Trail until noon so we ate and their was no map for the Ralley so we skipped it and ate BBQ Brisket, Pulled Pork and Smoked Chicken along with Potato Salad, Pasta Salad, Chips, and for desert COOKIES
The one big Huge result???? Their was alot of ideas exchanged, new parts were found, and we had new people with Outstanding trucks, and with the conversation found that they lived close    very close, infact one stoped by yesterday on his way home, we also discovered you can find parts dirt cheap for the trucks still!
We will be getting an invitation soon to go to Strasburg for a BBQ, and I"m going to have a Garage Warmer!
Excellant ideas for next year also :Thumbsup
The first Sweptline with a working EFI 360 Lead the Pack Old_Blue, he was literally setting his parameters as he drove.
62dodgedog found out his truck was more Road worthy than he thought, made the Cruise with no problem :usa

The last time I saw that many Sweptlines in one place was in the Vintage Power Wagons salvage yard. They didn't look anywhere near as good as these. :Thumbsup

Hey guys,
Had a great time on the run. Wanted to thank Robin for getting things set up and Cory for the great cruise, the route was pretty cool. I wanted to thank the folks who did the barbequeing. It was some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Got some good tips and saw some great swepts. The '62 held up and did alot better then I thought it would. I can't wait for the next event. Once again thanks to everbody who made it happen.

Hola All

I too feel that all that went to the cruz, had a good time.

Even though ole Dodge Trucks are part of "the wheel barrell's" of the motoring vehicles, they are neat to own and drive. It seems everywhere the group stops, there is always a person with a story of yester-year and their part of Dodge Truck History ( ever since Gen "Black Jack" chased Poncho all around and over the Border ).
