Pic request: rigs whith tires that stick way out; 4X4s.

I am wanting to get 12 or 14" wide wheels for my D200 4X4 conversion. I want something that sticks way out, like that I can climb up on to get in the bed. I've already got 16.5 x 9.75s and they look so skinny, they don't even come close to sticking out. Has anybody got some wild wide tire pics?

You could always get a set of deeper rims to make your tires and wheels stick out further or I have a set of Michelin 11x16 XL Radials for sale 4 new 1 used (spare) for sale $700.00 you pay shipping or pick up here. this is what they look like. I was going to put on a Power Wagon but never did.

Probably not a good picture, but I can climb in the box by using the tires on my truck, and I get in the engine bay too by climbing up the front tires. One of these days Ill break my neck getting off of the fender. I have been having an issue with the check valve in the accelerator pump on the holley sticking, so I have to climb up in there to take the aircleaner off to unstick the thing.
I have 15 by 10's, they are plenty wide. It will rub the front of the fender and the back of the fender while off roading, It is a horrendous noise when those boggers grab sheetmetal.

MuddyOldMan; I'm already running 36X12.5-16.5s on 16.5X9.75 wheels, ie; wider than those.
I think 16.5s have like 5" of back space though, but if I get 15s they have like 3".

Cage man: those look good. If those are only 10s then you must have less back space, because mine are 9.75 wide and are really tucked in under the fenders.
I've got about 7 or 9" of lift and I figure I will need to trim my fenders when I do this. I want 17X40-15 ground hawgs on 14" wheels. I hate to molest my truck like that because it's a really nice truck, but I think I can make it look proffessional. ether use crome trim, or rubber fender flars to make it look good after I sawzall it.

BTW, cageman, you running manual steering on that? What is the tire size?

Maybe they are 12 inch rims, Ill have to measure.
No I have powersteering, are you crazy. I like radial tires better, I had bias ply tires on it back in the day, and if it sat for more than a day, they were flat spotted, and they always leaked air, so I got the boggers from the guy with the blue truck with the hemi in it, he used them for pulling once and it was to much tire for the motor he had then. I have a 318 in my truck, and they are to much for that motor, but I dont need wheel spin, 4 low and Im through anything, that helps. I do need 4.88 gears though, but that is low on the priority list. 4.10 just isnt enough. 3rd gear at 65 is all right, 4th it cant pull it, no torque, little 318 you know. But it is better that way, I havent kiled myself with this motor in it, I rolled it over with the other motor I had, so the little motor will stay.
They must be 12 inch rims, My diesel truck has 20 by 10 rims, and they dont stick out at all.

SWEET! I want to go with 44 inch HAWGs just like that. He used the same fender flares I want. Is that yours? Do you know if he is running manual steering.
Thank you. That picture is AWSOME!

That is not my truck. I had a delivery job at one point and just saw it sitting in a driveway. I've been back several times and years later it was still there. I know next to nothing about it.
