In the movie American Gangster, there is a light blue sweptline that can be seen cruising back and forth throughout the same seen over and over.

I was at the movies saturday night and saw a preview for this movie. It's got Eva Longoria, one of the actresses from that Desperate Housewives show in it. She plays a woman who accidentally was killed on her wedding day by an ice sculpture that fell on her during delivery. Then she decides to haunt the guy's new girlfriend. The ice sculpture was being hauled in the Swepty. Probably not going to be the lead character's truck though, unfortunately. :pale Not my kind of movie, so that's probably as much as I'll ever know about that one.

We went to see The Bucket List. Great movie, though it turned out to be more moving than I thought. It's about two guys with only months to live from Cancer, who go to do the things they never got to do before they die. Hard to watch for an old softie like me. Especially after going through the Cancer thing with my first wife, who was only 29 when diagnosed. I thought that it was gonna be more of a comedy with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman in it. :pale Next time I'll read up on it. :banghead

Saw a "Super 8 Motel" ad that has a red sweptline in it, you see the upper part of the passenger door then as it passes by, the camera shows a shot of the Large rear window, and it is hauling something in the bed.

Saw a program last night on the Discovery Channel about the space program, the early days up to the landing on the moon and the Apollo missions that followed as well. I saw a crew cab that was a stepside and was that dark Air Force blue.

Was that a home made camper or a home made gas mileage reducer?!

I'm wondering how we get our trucks in a movie? I don't want my truck blown up though :shame

Ya know, even though this is kinds sad (knowing it's outcome), it is a really cool shot. :Thumbsup Care to share where you got that exactly? Might have to get that episode.

I think that the hillbilly hut on the back was constructed to make it fly right. :joker

The stills I posted are from an episode called "The Silent Partner"
While looking for that I found a 70-71 in an episode called "Soldiers of Misfortune"
Both in season one of Fall Guy.

I was watching The A-Team last week and they were driving a 70 or 71 White Utiline. They were in a house that was being shot up by Police and the owner took them through a tunnel to his barn. The truck was in the barn and they ended up borrowing it. Unlike most of the vehicles they borrow, this one didn't get modified or destroyed. They did tie a guy to the hood to prevent the truck from getting ambushed at a check point. B.A. called the truck a piece of junk but I guess he's a GM guy.

I watch a lot of old shows and look for Sweptlines.
