1963 Dodge Town Panel truck. 225 3-speed, heater, radio, bucket seats from a Volvo. About as basic a truck as it gets.

Just some updated photos.
repainted black on wheels.
and finally welded in seat brackets so seats don't slide around. LOL

Dbolter, is that the same truck that is pictured in the Dodge Truck Restoration Guide? Got any better pics?

Fix up the swepties and sell the rice burner :p

Those old Datsuns are cool though. I don't see them on the road anymore. I did see an attractive woman the other day at the gas station driving a Datsun about the same year. Not restored but in pretty good shape. It caught me by surprise!

MightyDodge,
Thats one beautiful engine bay. Wow, looks much better than stock !!
I have a 70 swb, swepty, found it just off the highway with a for sale sign. I went back later and got it. Some nut had installed a 350 Ch;,='y and tranny, I have a 318 Poly ready to go to the hot tank . I'm thinking about a 4 speed auto , like that came from the diesel powered rigs.
Its been a long time since I drove a straight front axle p/u, if I can't get an independent front to fit my budget, I'll go with the stocker, just dropped some. I'd like to go rack and pinion steering , but haven't seen one installed ,,, also disc brakes....
Really nice ride you have,,, it inspires me to get things go8ing with mine.......

Truckman,

Plans are some nice headers, power steering, disc brake conversion, new paint with clearcoat this time......., tint the windows 5%, new windshield, got the new emblems for the hood already, thinking about a headliner. This is going to be my street and strip truck.

It's a turn key, old man, run your @#% down, deal. I LOVE IT. PRETTY MUCH MY DREAM DD. If only it was a year older and a 4 door.
