Does anyone else feel as good as I do right now?...........Goldie

Scott, two things I was doing wrong(that I know of)it was underline not dash in the address, and url was what finally worked! I love this computer, even though right now I need to buy a new keyboard. My old one seems to be outside the window. I thank you all very much for your patience and help :Thumbsup :Thumbsup :Thumbsup :Thumbsup

when you are making the post, up above where you are typing there are several boxes with different letters in them. click the "Img" box and you will see "

on 81x have you have saved your page, if you dont save the page, as soon as you log off, so does the pic you put there. right click the pic, left click properties, right click the url and hit select all, then right click again and hit copy. then what i do, instead of closing the box, just use the ok key to close it, sometimes this creates a problem with 81x for some reason. and like was suggested, click [img] at the tool bar on the forum post, then paste the url after it, if the pic is at the end of the post, there is no need to click [img] a second time, it will automatically add it when you hit submit. try it again, lets see how you do :Thumbsup

Alright! so thats what those are. If I do that the pic stays up and we don't have to go to the other site to see it? This computin is getting real easy! Ha! I didn't think I was ever going to have to learn anything new again. My grandchildren will never let that happen. That old truck was at the Chrysler Classic in Norwalk, Ohio this summer. Nice fellow, 318 W/auto Can't remember what it ran. It was pretty well gutted though, for weight savings I suppose. What's the point when you run on a dialin? I think I'll try to post something more interesting now that I'm an old pro...Goldie

OK, Gentlemen, what you are looking at is a 63 Fury 9 Pass. wagon. I know this is a truck site but it's not too much of a stretch to include early sport utilitys is it? Especially if it is a factory 383 4v Golden Commando, 727, PS, PB, PW, Fac. AC! and from Arizona Too!..........Hope this works

Now that the pic is on the forum can I go back to 81x and delete it ? or does it have to stay there? I'm was just trying to post a pic, any pic. But I don't want to use up all the space on 81x for that stuff. Goldie

Sorry, the wagon is not for sale. I just got it. I think its gonna make a great "take a bunch of guys to a carshow" vehicle. As far as all the faith you all had in me I appreciate that. Once you learn something it doesn't seem that hard. Prior to that, I couldn't get it through my head. I now understand the principal involved, and it's going to be easier for me. 81x is a website provider and sweptline.com needs the address of the tiny site created there to work right. I'm still not clear on how web providers get paid for their services. Is this free posting a way for you to try them out and then subscribe to their service? I have no idea what it costs to run a big site like Sweptline, but I sure am gonna be a lot more helpful in the future. It's obvious that the admin on this site care about it and the members. I can't thank you all enough................Goldie :Thumbsup
