You need the public address for your webshots page, not the one you use to add and edit.

Rear Rims..

Post by HellBelly »

There are those kick @#% rear rims I'm trying to find.

What size are the rims and off what Car/Truck did they come from? That's a sweet looking truck!!

I'd have to say I really like the look of the Seat.. Well Done, Who did the work? Do they have a website?

The rear wheels are from Stockton Wheel. Standard 10 inch wide automotive wheel. The trucks have a 10 inch hub cap, the cars have a 9 inch hub cap. These are the 9 inch hub cap. 4 and a half inch offset. They were around $150 each. I took the Hoosiers off the front. They were too short. I put my 215 75 15's back on. Looks like a real truck again.

The rear slider is from Acme truck parts. Cowboy is right $110.

I had the roll pan and rotisserie made in Arkansas. He also welded the step holes in the front of the bed. $1000 for all of it.
Mack Bounds (870) 486-2789

Randy Wilbanks at Upholstery Plus did all of the interior. $1650
He is in Hartselle Alabama. (256) 751-1944

The paint fumes got a little thick at times. Never thought I would get it done. A little bit of work goes a long way.

Not trying to bother, but who did your A/C work also? I have a Factory installed A/C unit in my 69 I'd like to take somewhere and tell them... FIX IT and make it work LOL. Just trying to get ideas on who I could trust to do it right and not stick me.

Air Condition

Post by 440d100 »

I got an aftermarket A/C unit from Southern Rods. It was a hassle from the start. The unit was around $800 for "everything". After further inspection I found no instructions and no brackets for anything. The unit leaks like crazy in the cab. I still need to fix that. If I was doing it all over I would go with Vintage Air.

Darrell Hester of All Automitive did a fantastic job of piecing everything together. He fabricated several brackets and was good at keeping everything neat and looking factory. Darrell is in Huntsville Alabama and can be reached at dnhservices@knology.net. or (256)489-2160
He had the truck for about 6 weeks and he only wanted $500 but I gave him $750 for all his hard work.

A/C

Scott,
I know in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area their are numerous AC people for most of the parts come from their. In fact Daryl can probably introduce you to someone.
Thats it Cowboy it was Acme that had the sliding rear window and you can get them already tinted.
