The rockers are rusty, but everything else looks o.k. I haven't pulled the carpet yet.

No problem. As of today I no longer own this truck, but I would still like to get those parts. The orange '71 is going to my cousin in trade for a '61 Fargo powerwagon I have posted about before. The tailgate panel would still be a welcome addition to that Adventurer.

I also sold my green '71 to another friend.

I have had to face reality and thin the herd. I will be keeping my '67 shortbed and the '61 Fargo. A '63 shortbed will come home too, but is mostly a collection of parts, two different beds, etc.

The '63 has major rust issues, and would be a cool gasser project. The '67 and '61 come first.

Ha! My dad bought the very first 61 Fargo in town brand new! It was a red shortbox with white roof and also had the bright grille and sidetrim.

The Buick is actually a Pontiac that belongs to a friend of mine that I acquired the '71 Adventurer from. I will talk to him tomorrow and see if he has some more pictures of it. It is down in Helena, MT.

The friend, at whose place these vehicles are stored, is is a big time Pontiac and GMC collector.

I finally got the Adventurer home about a month ago. It needed a new fuel line from the fuel pump to the filter, fresh gas and a battery, and it fired up and runs great.

I put some 8 inch steel wheels on the back with some poverty caps. I really like how it looks.

I will attach a picture, although not the best quality.
