Re: 69 D100 > W100 more pics
I noticed you have a open knuckle front axle. your transfer case x-member goes under the case and you only have two shifters. do you have 5 lug nuts per wheel or 8? and is your transfer case not a NP201. there seems to be a lot of differences between a 68 W100 and a 69 W100

t-case changed from the NP201 to
the NP205.

Not only that but this truck was built using an 85 donor truck for parts. So the transfercase is a NP208 and the axles are from the 85.Hobcobble wrote:Beginning in '69, the W100s camemuddyoldman wrote:I noticed you have a open knuckle front axle. your transfer case x-member goes under the case and you only have two shifters. do you have 5 lug nuts per wheel or 8? and is your transfer case not a NP201. there seems to be a lot of differences between a 68 W100 and a 69 W100

Re: 69 D100 > W100 more pics
soopernaut is correct, this truck is not a good example of an "1969 W100" only the frame and body are from 1969. the entire driveline (minus motor) is from is from the 1985 W150 I used as a donor truck. Motor is a '65 413 out of a new yorker. It is not a good "Reference" truck. Thanks for all the comments....
