All in the Family "interior/engine"
Finally got some interior & engine pics taken. I also was mistaken on the mileage which pops corrected me on. I have a pic of the odometer which shows 41,171 original miles.

Wow, that's almost a museum quality truck. Everything looks new but all original.

Sir
I like what you have done.
The dual thing that holds the Brake Fluid is a
good "retro fit" up-grade.
Your truck makes all my prizes look as if they
came straight from the mountain pasture.

Wow, really - really -wow. That is an OUTSTANDING example of a great survivor truck. It's ready for the show circuit right now. Mine has not been that nice since 1978.
Great piece of history there - both Dodge, and your family. Congratulations.

Re: All in the Family "interior/engine"
Thanks for the kind words fella. The truck will be in its first show on 8/22/09. I have to really thank both my grandads, and my father for keeping this truck under the cover of a garage since new. The only thing that we want to do to the truck yet is replace the tailgate (if we can find a original, clean, color matching, non damaged one), and rear bumper (in likewise condition). We have decided together that we are not going to fix the couple little scrapes. They will not rust as we keep it clean, and a good coat of wax on it. Like someone said they are only "Original" once, and once you do a repaint even for a couple scrapes it's over. The wheels & exhaust are the only upgrades now as the originals were shot. We did keep the original wheels, and caps. Thanks again fellas on the comments, and maybe we will wheel it to a show a little further away sometime. This truck has not had a road trip over 150 miles ever in its life, and that was only a few times. We really do not know how it would handle a long cruise as far as cooling & trans. Later from Nebraska, Steve
