VERY nice. especially like the ride height.

Is it stock or did you modify to achieve that stance? If so, what did you do?

The bed looks GREAT.

I just removed some springs from the front and rear. The front know has two and the rear has three, with the rear spring brackets moved as close to the bed on the frame I could get without it hitting the floor in the bed .
I think the 16 inch 265R75 tires and wheels contributes more to the looks than the adjustments I made. Tim

one more question....

what did you use for a rear bumper?

My W200 doesnt have one and I have been debating several different ones.

The rear bumper I picked up at a camper place about 1 mile down the road. They install P&H bumpers, and the pile I went threw was about 30 years old I really do not know for sure what it came from, I picked it out of 200 bumpers stacked in a rack although the guy said he thought it was from a jeep truck but I just dont know for sure .All I had to do was mount the brackets on the inside of the frame not the outside and drill two new holes and it was done. It is a good fit ,Sorry I was of no help, Tim

Hey guys thanks for the great comments . This truck came from my fatherinlaw ,He always refered to her as the ol gal, I think she falls some were between his first born and third out of five girls or his second wife I am not sure. I know he now has a picture of her on his desk at work , Now that she's done
He bought her in California in the 70s she had a mechanic's tool box on her. He took that off and put a full size camper on her and traveled back and forth from Missouri to California many times pulling a toyota with them sometimes , he said when you needed power just put her in first gear she would take care of the rest. My wife has very fond memories of this .
About five years ago we was out there visiting , and I was walking around the yard and got to looking at her and she was in pretty darn good shape , Always wanting to rebuild a car or truck we got to talking and made a deal ,I think he thought I was going to throw a quick paint job on her and a few new parts to get her running and it would be done. When he seen the first pictures of progress when I had her stripped down to the frame, It was then I think he realized she was going to be Immortilized.
The hardest part was finding a bed I wanted ,It took three years and ebay to get that done ,I also found some new bed parts on mar-k.com, Tailgate and chrome strips for the bed. Ford and Chevy parts are easy to get, you do a project like this and it is a horse of a different color.
Now my wife dad has memories of this truck ,She has memories of this truck, My four year old would set at the supper table and say dad let"s go work under the old dodge after supper , now he has memories of this old truck , and of course I now have memories have this old truck.
Gidis is grandpa in Lebanese and of course she is a 64 that is how we got her name Gidis64.
Thank you Gidis for all the memories And THAT IS "HER" STORY ,Tim
