rat rod is such ugly words... and plus those words only apply to anything older than '66 ;)

if you ever want to get rid of those steering wheel let me know.. i have a really nice wood grain aftermarket one.

Looks good. How was it lowered? Are those blacked out back-up lights going to pass inspection? Let's see some engine pix!

well in north carolina if its older than a 72-75 you dont have to have it inspected. the truck has been lowered but we bought it with those tiny cragars on it and we are thinking about putting some 18s on it with low profile rims or racing wheels and i will post a pic of the engine today

Really cool! I would keep the cragars, but put a little thicker/fatter tires on them. Maybe even put really fat tires on the bak, for a little rake.

That truck looks very stock to me, other than the wheels, why do you call it a rat rod? :thinking I thought those names were for ratty old modified cars and trucks???
Seems to me too nice to call it names

the main thing that was done was the truck was lowered. some other small things. the reason we call it a rat rod is it doesnt look the best but we are making it mechanically sound exactly what a rat rod is.

Go with the new 18" or 20" cragers and some tall tires!
