Re: 440 Turbo
I'm thinking of doing the same to mine so I can throw down some outrageous HP numbers and maybe even run E85 fuel in it. Got any more info on it?

To run 8lbs of boost you will need e85 of 105 octane fuel.Thats the bad part about high comp. motors.OregonDodgeboy wrote:I'm thinking of doing the same to mine so I can throw down some outrageous HP numbers and maybe even run E85 fuel in it. Got any more info on it?

Re: 440 Turbo
I have a compete set up also, was made by RV Turbo. had planed to put it on my 66 travco but it wont clear the engine cover. the good news is that there's plenty of room for it on my 69 D200 I bought off of jimE last spring. Yes E85 would be the way to go with an octane of 105. Anyone have a used alky carb for sale??

Re: 440 Turbo
Have you thought of running the turbo from under the coach? I've seen kits for trucks that puts them back where the muffler would be. Might give you the room you need. But in the Swept, it would be much more fun, wouldn't it?ind200 wrote:I have a compete set up also, was made by RV Turbo. had planed to put it on my 66 travco but it wont clear the engine cover. the good news is that there's plenty of room for it on my 69 D200 I bought off of jimE last spring.
