1970 W100

Post by WayOuttaLine »

Here's the W100 I just picked up on saturday, saved it from the crusher. I don't quite know what I'm gonna do with it yet,at the moment I'm just trying to get the wiring back together and get it running again.

It's a 318 with a 3 speed manual, originally on the column but somewhere down the line it was converted to floor shift.

Nick

It is OK to do as you have done. Thank You.

My first thought for your truck project is just to make it as it was when new. Nuthin different or more.

Good rescue on that W100. I'm sure you'll find a way to put it to
use. :Thumbsup

Here's a few new pictures of it,I kicked it out of the garage yesterday because I needed to clean up. I installed an old roll bar I got from a friend, and started to put the "new" wiring harness in,but I'm still trying to get a hold of an instrument cluster. I'm probably going to have to make a new harness running to the rear, that's all hacked up and finding one of these trucks in a junkyard by me is like finding hen's teeth.

Looks like a great find, can't believe it was going to the crusher because that truck has a lot of potential and a whole lot of life left in it. Good save!!
