1964 D-100
I got this truck when i turned 16, in 2005. Started working on it, but quickly ran out of money. It is almost ready for a paint job now, and i have had the seat recovered. But I recently joined this site and thought you guys might like another cool truck to look at. It has 71,000 original miles on it. Everything is as stock as it can be. The 318 ci poly is still pulling strong.

That is a nice ride, and the seat is sweet! I have always liked the instruments that came in those older swepts, mine is a '68 and a little different, really like the round gauges.

Nice truck man! I like the 62-early 65 sweptlines the best. I can relate to the quickly running out of money stuff! I cant wait till I get my 62 D-200 finished either...

I like your truck the early sweptlines are growing on me , I use to just like later ones . One question though , is that where the horns are located stock (on the hood ) .One suggestion , get a bigger air filter , let that motor breath .

Yeah I'm planning on changing over to a 4bbl intake and carb. When that happens i will get a new air cleaner. I just had this one laying around and i though it would let the engine breath a little better than that oil bath air cleaner that came stock. As for the horns, i believe that was stock, however i'm not 100% on that. I'm sure someone on this site would know though.pismopowerwagon wrote:I like your truck the early sweptlines are growing on me , I use to just like later ones .
