Exhaust gas overtemperature?
Self destruct armed?

nah.... low/imbalanced brake pressure from a little switch in the distribution block downstream from your master cylinder.

Hmmm :thinking .... Oil, Brights or Brakes?....
Lets see.... if your engine blows up.... it'll
be Oil.... if oncoming traffic keeps flashing you
at night.... it'll be Brights and if you back out
of your driveway and continue right through your
neighbors fence and yard.... it'll be Brakes :joker

Seriously though.... these are the red lights that
come to my mind :Thumbsup

Is it the one on the left by the light switch? I've wondered what that did too as mine always lights up when I start the truck and never at any other time.

Seriously guys; that one's the low/imbalanced brake pressure warning lamp. It should light when starting and then go out.

I think that's the same light that would stay on when my truck was off and would drain my battery. It finally went off, maybe the bulb finally burned out.

You could always test the bulb. Is your brake
indicator light wiring OK? You could also try
pulling the contact off the line junction block
and cleaning it up :Thumbsup
