Should be a pretty strait forward swap in, only issue is that the fuel gauge on your round set used a extrunal votage limiter instead of one built in to the fuel gauge, so be sure that you hook up both the temp and fuel gauge to the limiter (there should be one on the back of the guage set
if the set is compleat)....and of course the oil pressure guage (assuming you have the gauge, not the light) will need the hose and installed into the right spot on your engine- rear of engine on v8's, side of block or at pump on the \6....

some of those 62 clusters without the tach use an oil light instead of a gauge... easy to convert to a proper gauge as the oil gauges pop up on ebay from time to time.

Thanks Ben, I actually run aftermarket down below the dash. I am on the hunt for a Vintage Sun Green line gauge actually....

The holes other than the one for the speedometer are just a tad too big to acommedate the regular after market gauges. I was looking into installing one as well. I decided to fabricate my own from a small sheet of aluminum and just tracing the speedometer hole and the dash on it and cutting it out. Also measuring the right size holes to be cut for the after market gauges as well.

Those appear to be from a 61. Most 62s had the white gauges.

I was just going by what Gordo said about 62. I think he means the rounded out rectangular gauges kinda of look like the 68 style but rounded..... small gauges. :thinking

I decided against the swap, I was starting to get crazy with addins stuff to the truck.

Of the subject here, but ,Hey,love that white steering wheel. Where can I find one? Did it come from a car or actually originally from a truck?

Here is what I'm doing to the new 64 . The round gauges are SW . The plate is cut out of aluminum, then sprayed with hammer- tone rattle can paint.

white wheel is an option on certain trucks starting in 65 up through 68.

To clarify, these are 62 gauges. The white part is actually rectangle but the metal over it makes it look rounded. 61s had the gauges pictured above.

No, they won't fit at all. Not even close. However, I can put them to good use for you. J/K

I will find some someday. I want the ones with the tach.
