blower switch

Post by Blue67 »

66 D100. Had to unretire Old Blue cause Bambi attacked the front of the wifes Toyota at about 65 mph. Big mess. Anyway, I was heading home tonight, drove about a mile to let Blue warm up. Reached down in the dark to turn on the fan and reached too far. Touched the wire or the resistor on the blower switch like less than a second. Big blister on the end of my finger. I know resistors make lots of heat but is this something I need to worry about.
On a high note! It's great that the best vehicle in the stable is 40+ years old. :clap Thanks Mother Mopar.

gangrene

Post by Blue67 »

Thanks Jeff. I knew you would know. No gangrene in the finger yet. Just a 3/8 inch around blister. Just getting nervous I guess. Blue is all I drive that I can depend on. Wifes Toyota got attacked by Bambi at about 65 mph. :banghead Rear end and drive shaft is falling out of the Bronco. :banghead Need to buy 2 or 3 more sweptsides so I can be sure to get to work in the morning. Or maybe I should just stay home and drink beer.
