Hello all. '66 W200 owner here.
Looking to improve my ride. Specifically: Good quality replacement leaf springs, new tranny mounts, cab mounts, and motor mount rubber. At the moment, she rides better with the newer shocks, but she's still plenty rough. Just looking for good quality, USA made companies. Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Re: Suspension
In my experience, the best way to make an old dodge truck ride better is to put lots of weight in it.

I did start the swept addiction driving a d 400 after all. It would ride the best with about 5 ton in the box!

Re: Suspension
if your not going to work your truck
then softer springs
can remove a couple of leafs and re-ark them to keep ride height
the spring tech has come a long way in the last 40 years
progressive rate springs ....

Re: Suspension
Thanks for the responses. She's not gonna haul much beyond some normal life stuff on occasion, if needed (sheets of drywall, junk, or if a buddy needs something hauled, etc.) Looking to get some new springs, maybe a small 2" lift. She gets a little clunky on the ol' backcountry roads.

Re: Suspension
Not sure if you have a 2 or 4 wheel drive. Assuming its a 2x4, some go with a crown vic swap, some do a frame clip swap and some go with an aftermarket IFS. Each of these have their strengths and weaknesses, and there are plenty of articles about these swaps. If its a 4x4 Im not sure how to help. I would say the softer springs would be the way to go.
