I can't tell from the on-line parts diagram. How many leaves are in the front and rear springs on a '67 D100 and D200? Thanks.

Just to be clear, I am referring to the base here, no upgraded suspension. I think for a 100 it is 1200 or 1300lb for the front and 1400lb for the back? One web site I looked at said 3/1 for the rears but I don't know what that means. Thanks.

Well mine might not be the base model since it’s a big block truck, but the front springs are 5 leaf/1250lb. capacity, and the rears are 7 leaf/1750 lb. capacity. Hope this helps.

Thanks Ed, and Happy New Year. My VIN tag says 1200lb capacity for the front springs and 1350lb for the rear. I have 4 springs on the front and 5 on the back. A PO swapped out the original slant 6 and transmission for a 318 with the 727 automatic transmission from a '69. Is there much of a weight difference between the slant 6 and the 318?

Sorry, haven’t checked back. I don’t know about the weight differences. I’m surprised one of the more knowledgeable people haven’t jumped in.
