Booster with 72-73 Truck Master Cylinder?

Hi all,
I've been reading all the Scarebird posts, and am following the Scarebird parts list and have found a 72-73 truck master cylinder to buy. I'd like to also use a 7" Booster with it (future towing) but all the boosters that match the 4 post MCs are 'big' 8" Bendix compatible boosters. Which would be fine, but I have a 440 that I think will be too wide for the booster.
One thought was to start out with the 72-73 MC and see how that works without a booster. But I'd rather not burn the $$$ to buy the MC if it won't be compatible with any currently available boosters.
The other option? is to get a 7" A-body dual reservoir setup but not sure how fabrication work will be required to adapt the pedal to the booster.
I already am needing to think about finding an automatic pedal assembly to put in place of the original clutch assembly that was original to the truck.
Appreciate the thoughts.
