just switched the single master cylinder on my 1963 d200 to a dual master cylinder, the one that i used is for a 1967 d100, i tried to reuse the push rod for the single on the dual but it doesnt seem to have a long enough stroke to fully apply the brakes, do i need to adjust it out as far as it will go and still be used safely and just back the brakes off a little, or does a 1967 use a different pedal or longer push rod? thanks donnie

Ideally, you should have gotten a two bolt master
firewall plate and used a D/W 200 [or pre-'69 W100]
dual reservoir master cylinder due the the piston
bore differences. Do you plan on towing or hauling
much?

You can find a plate on a '68 or older W100, a '68 or
older D200 or a '68 and older W200.

i figured out the problem, and it involved bleeding the master cylinder again, problem solved, brakes work very well
