Hi Kurt. That actually looks like a 'car' spindle, as it is a horizontal spindle. General rule is, truck spindles are vertical and car spindles are horizontal. Where did you get the spindle?

Kurt's photo is a 4,000 lb front axle. An "Elliott" axle, as opposed to the "Reverse Elliott" posted below.

The spindle is on my 1965 D200 Crew and is original as far as I know. There are other Crews I have seen with it. I made disc brakes for it that are good but would rather have something from a pro.

Kurt, we've obtained the data and dimensions of this particular spindle and are in the process of modifying our adapter plate to also work with spindle as well. We'll keep you posted when this revision is available (which will be soon!)
