I was watching an episode of Gearz and Stacey David installed rack & pinion from
unisteer.com on a beam axle rod and they have a page for custom units. The parent
company is Mavas Mfg. 1555 Enterprise Parkway, Twinsburg, OH, 44087 somebody
nearby should take a D100 up there and talk to them. This could be the power steering
solution!

Re: Unisteer.com
I have called the company previously and they do not offer a power version of the cross-steering rack set-up. The unit on Gears TV is for street rod with a weight of under 3000 pounds and the tech guy said it wouldn't hold up to a four thoussand pound rig like ours. sorry to be the buzz killer on this one! i talked to them about a month ago. JP in the land of oz.

That's exactly what I wanted to know. Back to what's already been discussed.funkyjbp wrote:I have called the company previously and they do not offer a power version of the cross-steering rack set-up.
