Jungles shackle flip kit for 12 inch lifted Sweptlines??

Post by 64crewcabs »

I was wondering if anybody had installed Jungle from Ramcharger Central lift kit shackles and shackle flip kit on any 61 to 71 Sweptline?? I have a set of that place in colorado custom lift springs in 12 inch lift and am prob going to need a cab abd bed lift as well to clear the set of American farmer 44x18x16.1 v tread apple orchard tires. I have the springs jury rigged right now on top of a dana60 axle?? Has anybody got a 12 inch lifted Sweptline 4x4 truck on here??? Thanks in advance, the truck has a cumins 4bt, sae #2 housing, 14 inch clutch or 13 depending, Spicer 3053a 5 speed od from a M35 army truck, PSC hyda steering, 78 Ford 4x4 reworked sterring box and bunch of stuff left to be installed and finally fitting finished, the truck is actually a 1964 w200 crewcab i bought from here years ago, Built one truck and sold it and this is the spare that a shop butchered and i have to redo. I would like to hear from anybody who has installed a real tall lift and dana 60 with crossover sterring arms from OFFroadDesign as well. Goal is to finsh it out and get it reinspected with a inside air cleaner and snorkel for a hurrincane truck down here on the coast, will be posting up a ton of pictures of the project and parts collected and installed so far. Thanks for any pictures and links, i have seen a guy on Pirat4x4 building shackle flips for 72 and up dodge 4x4s but i dont know if anybody has tried them on a 4x4 sweptline 61 to 71????

Here is a picture of the truck before it got butchered by a socalled Diesel shop http://imageevent.com/oddball/misc think there are 5 pictures of the bad job they did installing the springs and you can see the clearnace issues i have to fix.

Will do, do you know if this site is TapaTalk enabled?? The Swap is pretty basic, buy a rebuild gov tranny $500 and then add the flywheel, clutch, flywheel housing and SAE#2 to SAE#3 adapter or just find a SAE#3 bellhousing flywheel so that the spicer 3053a bolts straight up without the high priced adapter. Somebody emailed me a picture of a w300 with a spicer 3053a installed behind a 318 poly somehow with the stock bellhousing drilled out for 2 bolt holes, its stuck on my deadiphone waiting to get unloaded alas. Battery went dead and had to send it back for unload and rebuild or replacment, apple applecare not very good for timey replacment of the phone if urr's goes bad in middle of nowhere. New one was like $500 something yeeks!!!!!
