Front shackle question

Post by JimsRatRod »

I've re-arched the springs and installed ball-bearing kingpins and now am ready to install the front end. The main reason I re-arched the springs is the front shackles were slanting at a 45 degree angle forward. They wiggle a little but I'm wondering how to bring them back. A little deep creep or what?

The front shackles on a Sweptline angled forward from
the factory. I don't know the original angle from a vertical
axis [maybe its notated in the FSM?].
