aluminum radiators

Post by sabbfan »

I have a '67 sweptline I am going to put a 440 in. It had a nonrunning 400 in it when I bought it, and know nothing about the radiator that is in it. I want to put an aluminum radiator in it, and was wondering what you guys had for suggestions. I am looking at the Summit and Jegs generic ones since they are a lot cheaper, any ideas on the size I need?

If you have an O'Reilly Auto Parts around you, check with them.

They can express order (usually no more than 3 days) a BULLET Aluminum radiator for around $200.00. I've used them 3 times and am about to put one in my 69 Baccaruda. Be sure to get the mounting kit, too. It's about $20. You will be VERY impressed with the quality you get for the money. If they give you any trouble, PM me and I'll GIVE YOU A PART NUMBER.

I purchased mine from Summit Racing. I fabricated my own mounts and found formed hoses to fit from Advance auto parts. It has been working great for a year now in the Savannah Heat! Here are some pics
