"green" bearings?

Anyone running the sealed "green" type bearings in a D100 (8.75) rear? Or keeping tapered rollers?

I know there are questions about sideloading them, in autoX applications and such. But I'm not doing that in a D100.
But Im not sure about overall loads.

Opinions?

one type has a swaged on flange....thats the one he doesn't like. the other has the snap ring, and allows for some misalignment without premature bearing failure.
Both are the same type of bearing - just a different retaining method......but I'm not sure of the load rating for a truck. Thats the question.

I shot him an email asking about the load rating. we'll see what he says.

My guess, it will be fine. I think the Furd half ton (mid 1950s) used the ball type bearing. I think there are many other trucks that do.
