Will 72 and later small block headers fit a 70? I have a set and im going to use and
swap a 340 for a slant six. Will the headers fit? :thinking

Are they truck headers or car headers? I didnt know there was a difference till I tried to put them on my 68 D100 (318). Turns out they were car headers and didnt have enough "sweep" to clear the tranny crossmember.

Bolt pattern at the head is the same.
The issue is what body style do they fit.
"A" body-"B" body-"E" body- and as mentioned car or truck.

The trucks most likely have more room to run headers than any of the cars.

69 and newer have modern style crossmembers, 68 and older have 1930s style crossmembers. So you'll have a lot more room to play with. Steering column and starter will still present issues. But they "should" work.
