squishy motor mount

Post by OleRed66 »

The motor mounts on OleRed are soft. That poor old motor shakes horrible at idle. Everyone can see how bad it shakes. Are the isolators supposed to be soft? If not, where can I get new mounts?

AutoZone had the isolators for my '68. Seems to be a quality part. I had purchased some from Schumacher Creative Services and I broke one of the studs off without much effort. I ran over to AutoZone and they provided me with one that didn't break. :pale I don't think they should move around all that much.
