Clutch Adjustment

Post by Ranchols »

Can anyone help me out with adjusting my clutch pedal? NP435 on a 318. The Clutch grabs 2" from the floor and there is a ton of free play at the top.

Thanks!

Either set-up, the linkage is adjusted too short. But the remedy is obviously approached differently based on what you have. On mechanical the adjustment is on the linkage between the Z bar and clutch fork. Not sure on the hydraulic version.

On the hydraulic set up the adjustment should be on the slave cylinder. Adjust the rod on it if I remember right..
