Does anyone have a picture of what one looks like. I want to convert my 4spd to auto, and i have never seen a short shaft 727

isnt a short shaft tranny made to bolt up to a transfer case?

This is not a good pic but will give you an idea of what one looks like.
Notice that it has a flange on the output shaft, not a slip joint. These came in four wheel drive trucks and some two wheel drive models also. My 69 D100 had the long tailshaft 727 in it before I converted it.

The short shaft tranny's were installed in the mid '70's Club Cabs.
