Driveshaft question

Post by OregonDodgeboy »

I have an offer to get a 66 Crew Cab short bed W200 that is missing it's rear driveline. Is this supposed to have a two piece or one piece? And either way, does anyone here have one they would part with?

Thanks! :Thumbsup

it should be a 2 piece with center carrier bearing. is the truck 3spd, 4spd, or auto? this could make a difference. my 69crew is 4spd with a 2 piece.

Hey Trey,

He says it is a W and short bed so he has a transfer case making the driveline quite a bit shorter than yours. I would think with the short bed it would be a single piece driveline.

It's currently a 4 speed (NP435), but eventually will be an auto again (has auto dash). It currently has a shaft that fits both ends, but is not long enough obviously.
